Laura Marchand
Painter
I was born in 1994 in Burgundy.
A painter since the age of 16, I studied at the Lycée Henry Moisand in Longchamp in the Côte d'Or, where I obtained, in 2012, my applied art technician certificate with an option for ceramic decorations.
I then continued my studies at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts in Besançon in Franche Comté, obtaining a degree in Contemporary Art in 2016.
Rich in this artistic and cultural experience, I incorporated a collective of artists with whom I was able to present my plastic works in various exhibitions.
Installation and volume were the mediums I exploited at that time.
Subsequently, I decided to travel for 3 years with my partner and my first son across France.
Painting revealed itself, at that moment, to be the appropriate discipline to express my artistic sensitivity.
Since then, I haven't stopped painting.
Being based in Terrats in the Eastern Pyrenees with my family who have welcomed a new child since 2021, I specialize in this practice by making my creations in my new workshop where I occasionally give lessons at home.
I also create murals in private homes as well as various custom orders based on customer expectations.
I can reproduce images in various formats as well as create original works from my personal universe.
